Hello all!
This is hopefully the first blog entry of many that are to come! Although I could very well write a blog about the random happenings in my life, this blog was created with a specific purpose in mind-that is, to give you all updates as my dad and I cycle along the Mississippi River!
We leave on April 24th and fly to New Orleans. In other words, our departure time is coming up VERY soon! I'm starting to get nervous! I've been training as much as I can, but it has been difficult as school is getting CRAZZAY! My dad is on a cruise right now (what else is new?), so he will be back for just three weeks before we head out. I'm excited, but very nervous because this will be the most physically challenging thing I've done in my entire life. I'm not sure if I will be able to make it all the way to Minneapolis, but if my dad and I can survive a month together-I will be ecstatic! haha
I'm training with my brother now which has been wonderful. It has been amazing to be outside so much during this beautiful season of Spring!
I will keep you all updated with postings, photos, and hopefully some videos!

That sounds awesome Annika! I wish I had the guts to do something like that! I'm sure it will be a great experience and a lot of fun. Hopefully you'll meet many new and wonderful people. Good luck, I hope you have a ton of fun and I will definitely stay up to date on all of this. I want to know all about it! =]
